Jeanne and Nick’s wedding at Acacia Reservation – Cleveland Wedding Photography
Guys. This wedding. Absolutely beautiful. The bridal party was such a blast to work with,
the guests had a great time, I had a great time… All in all, it was a PERFECT DAY and I’m so glad I got to be a part of it.
On the morning of Nick and Jeanne’s special day, the ladies all came to the studio for dress photos and champagne toasts because we wanted to utilize the white walls and flooring; I LOVED the way Jeanne looked in her wedding dress, surrounded by glowing light- making her look angelic and quite literally breathtaking. We decided it was necessary to do a champagne toast, and if you can’t tell by the girls reactions.. it was absolutely hilarious.
Meanwhile, the men got ready at the location of the wedding, Acacia Reservation.
Nick’s best man was his son, Brody. Jeanne’s maid of honor was her sister, Kendall.
When Jeanne walked down that isle, I don’t think there was one dry eye there.
Including mine! No matter how many weddings I photograph, I will ALWAYS cry if the groom cries. Always.
When it came time for portraits we had a stunning sunset to work with. I used a combination of Off-Camera flash as well as natural light to bring out all the beauty in those moments. To end portraits, I told Jeanne and Nick to just interact with each other and take in all the beauty, and the moments of the day thus far.
The reception was a blast, guests danced.. they ate delicious food provided by Dinos Catering, and they partied it up!
When it came time for the garter toss, Jeanne surprised everybody by “icing” Nick. Now, if you don’t know what “Icing” is , its when
you surprise someone with a Smirnoff Ice and they HAVE to chug it immediately. Nick handled it like a champ.
At the end of the night, Jeanne and Nick were sent away by their guests holding sparklers, it was magical and something out of a
fairy tale I swear. Now that I mention it, the whole day photographed quite similar to a fairytale!
