Katie and Stephen had the sweetest summer wedding at Lincoln Park in Tremont, Ohio—and I had the honor of creating a live wedding painting in Tremont to capture their ceremony moment. They tied the knot under the park’s white Victorian-style gazebo on a sunny afternoon, and I painted the moment they shared their first kiss as a newly married couple!
About the Location: Lincoln Park in Tremont, Ohio
Cleveland’s Lincoln Park is a charming green space tucked right into Cleveland’s Tremont neighborhood. It’s surrounded by historic homes, tree-lined paths, and a peaceful vibe that feels tucked away from the city, even though it’s right in the middle of it. The gazebo, with its white woodwork and old-world charm, was a beautiful setting for their ceremony.
Because of the natural beauty of the park, I didn’t need to add much to make the scene shine.
Painting Their Ceremony Kiss Live
For this live wedding painting in Tremont, Katie and Stephen chose their ceremony kiss to be captured. I arrived a few hours early to set up my easel and begin sketching the background. That way, by the time guests started arriving, the canvas already had the gazebo and park elements in place.
During the ceremony, as petals floated through the air, I painted the couple into the scene. It was light, joyful, and full of emotion. I loved getting to turn that real-time moment into something they could take home and keep forever.
