A Little Adventure to Goodwill and Picnic Dreams

Who would’ve thought that an engagement session could start with a Goodwill adventure? We kicked things off at our local Goodwill. We hi the aisles in search of unique elements for our date night session. From a charming picnic basket to champagne glasses. From a classic game of Battleship, and the perfect plates for their snacks. We surely filled our basket with treasures that would make their session one-of-a-kind.

Sunset Magic: Sharing Laughter, Love, and Champagne

We found our picnic necessities, and then headed to our next location for a dreamy sunset picnic. Nestled against a Cleveland-summer backdrop, Merissa and Joe indulged in a charcuterie board brimming with delicious cheeses, fresh fruits, decadent chocolates, and crispy crackers. (Fun fact – I’m pretty sure making charcuterie boards is my literal love language. I have so much fun creating them! Every time I have company, I am so excited to get creative with the snacks) With champagne in hand, they raised their glasses, toasting to their engagement and the nine beautiful years they’ve spent together.

Golden Hour Radiance

I can’t even begin to describe the magic of the golden hour light. It turned Merissa and Joe into radiant beings, their love and joy shining through every moment. The warm summer sunset provided the perfect canvas for their story, as they giggled together, cuddled in the sunshine, and exchanged lovey-dovey glances. We ended our photo session by playing a friendly round of Battleship, packing up our picnic, and eagerly waiting to edit and see the beautiful photos we created!
